Meet Our Leadership Team

Peter & Courtney Jackson

Lead Pastor
Courtney spent her entire childhood in Troy, Texas, while Peter lived in 4 different states before landing in Holland, Texas for his high school years. From early on in life, Peter and Courtney were both in church. Peter’s dad was a Baptist pastor and Courtney’s mom taught Sunday school at their local Lutheran Church. However, neither of them committed their lives to Jesus until their later teenage years.

Married at the ages of 20 and 18, Peter and Courtney jumped fulltime into the work force early. Courtney managed Blockbusters, we all know how that ended, while Peter played in a rock band and waited tables. As these seasons came to a close, they both felt a call towards working at, and serving in the local church. Peter has been in fulltime vocational ministry since he was 23, serving in the position of Worship Pastor, Youth Pastor, Interim Lead Pastor, and now Lead Pastor. Courtney has always served in Children’s ministry while caring for their two children, Kimber and Creek, and working other jobs on the side

Passion for Jesus and His church didn’t come to them all at once. Through their lives together they can point back to moments of clarity, loss, inspiration, and intrigue, and all these moments culminated into a burning passion to see communities changed through the witness of the local church. When the local church is healthy, the community around it will feel loved, served, and seen.

Caleb & Paloma Lightfoot

Worship Leaders
Paloma and Caleb’s journey in ministry began at the same church in The Woodlands, Texas, where they met during an internship in 2018. Paloma, a classically trained pianist, started playing keys at The Crossing Church in 2017. It was there that she deepened her relationship with Jesus, spending countless hours at the piano in prayer and worship. After moving to Waco for her undergraduate studies, Paloma’s faith grew stronger through her service in children’s ministry at her local church and through her theology courses at Baylor University. Upon moving to Dripping Springs, she continued her passion for worship at Foundation Church.

Caleb, who picked up the guitar a few years ago, grew up surrounded by music—his grandfather, who led worship for over 20 years, and his aunt and uncle, also worship leaders in Nashville, deeply influenced his musical journey. Caleb’s love for worship blossomed as he joined the team, learning to play electric guitar and growing alongside Paloma in their shared passion for leading others in praise.

Together, Paloma and Caleb are passionate about leading others into authentic worship, where hearts are aligned with the truth of who God is. They believe worship is not just a moment in a service, but a lifestyle that flows out of a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. Their goal is to create an environment where people can encounter the love of God, respond to His goodness, and be transformed by His presence. As they lead, they are continually in awe of the opportunity to join in with all of heaven in worshipping their Creator. Paloma and Caleb’s hearts are devoted to seeing others experience the life-changing power of worship, both in their personal lives and in the gathering of the church. They are humbled to serve at Foundation Church, believing that every note played and every song sung is an offering to the One who is worthy of all praise.

Freddy's commitment to both his faith and his community makes him a remarkable and inspiring individual.

Sophie Lightfoot

FC Kids Leader
Sophie Lightfoot is a wife, mom, sister, and daughter who is passionate about family, community, and sharing the love of Christ. Originally from Round Rock, Texas, Sophie recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. She has always had a foundation in faith, having attended a Christian school from kindergarten through 12th grade, but it wasn't until college that she fully recognized how deeply rooted her relationship with Jesus truly was.

After meeting her husband, Noah, Sophie began attending church regularly in San Marcos. It was there that she experienced the life-changing moment of being baptized in the San Marcos River. Since then, her journey of faith has been filled with incredible blessings, including marriage, moving to Dripping Springs, and welcoming their first baby.

Sophie is currently serving in Children’s Ministry at Foundation Church, where she is excited to inspire and nurture the next generation in their walk with God. Sophie is in awe of how God has worked in her life and is eager to continue serving Him in all areas, especially as she pours into the lives of children and families in the church.

Margarita Davis

FC Littles Leader
Margarita gives her all when it comes to serving or helping others.  She is a proud South Austinite and is a launch team member of Foundation Church & leads the Event Team.  She enjoys all the details that involve getting the event planned and executed!  To see smiles on people’s faces makes her heart beam!

She is married to Jason, and they have three teenage daughters.
Margarita has a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Behavioral Sciences from Concordia University.  She has 25 years of prior work experience varying from clerical positions with the State of Texas, accounting positions, Executive Assistant, and hotel sales experience.  She held these positions prior to the birth of their third daughter in 2011.

Margarita grew up going to church on Sunday mornings, but was never part of a youth group.  It wasn’t until when she was invited to her friend’s church as a teenager that God got a hold of her in a powerful way, and was touched by the Spirit.  However, shortly after, there was a period where she was not following Jesus, but God was still working on her heart.  When Margarita and Jason began their family, Margarita dreamed of being able to stay home and spend time with her children. Throughout her children’s early years, they attended Christian preschool programs where they were loved and nurtured and learned about Jesus’ love.  Margarita realized there was a desire to start taking the girls to church on Sunday mornings and yearned to have a church family to be part of.  God led them to Foundation Church and this is where she began to grow her true relationship with the Lord.

Margarita is currently a substitute preschool teacher at a local church’s preschool program and volunteers with the High School Tiger Band program. Margarita has a servant’s heart and is honored to be able to teach the littles about God’s love in this community! She loves her church and the people!

Bill & Julie Hopkins

Bill is a church Elder and both Bill & Julie Lead an FC Group on Sundays
Julie grew up and graduated from high school near Philadelphia. After moving around a lot early in life, Bill’s family landed in Lawrence Kansas. As such, Bill loves all things Jayhawk (particularly basketball). After serving in the Army straight out of high school, Bill met Julie while attending college in Boston, and they will celebrate their 39th anniversary in 2025. They have one son who lives in Dallas. They have lived on Hawksnest Ranch southwest of Dripping Springs for almost 25 years.
Professionally, Bill and Julie are both in tech: After retiring from the Army and a career in tech marketing, Bill founded a consulting company, the Knowledge Capital Group in the ‘90s and is still their CEO 25 years later. Julie is an Analyst Relations executive for a Silicon Valley-based software company.  Bill also has a side gig in firearms safety instruction, selection, and sales and is a certified Gunsmith.

They became believers together in 2000 when a situation came to light where they, through different, but parallel circumstances, saw that evil is real, personal in nature, desires to keep us from God’s purposes, and for which the world had no answer, explanation, or response. Ever since, they have continued to learn more about our wondrous Father every day as they press in, looking for how to best live life as Christians and glorify His kingdom. Bill and Julie both have a heart for church plants and small groups. Bill feels called to men’s ministry, and Julie loves Christian worldview studies and apologetics.

Paul & Laurie Tyler

Laurie is our Guest Services Team Leader.
Both Paul & Laurie host
our Arrowhead Ranch FC Group and FC Youth Group.
Here’s a story you don’t hear often!  Paul and Laurie were born in the same hospital, grew up in the same city, met in middle school, went to the same church, started dating in high school, attended the same college, and have been married 46 years.  So much similarity, yet their family backgrounds are very different, Paul from a stable loving environment and Laurie from a turbulent family.  Blessed with three children, the family moved to Dripping in 2001, left for a job in 2011 and returned to Drip as soon as possible to be close to their girls and grandson.

Paul spent most of his career in the travel industry and Laurie was in Retail Banking for over 40 years leading branch, district, and retail teams.  When returning to Dripping, they purchased a Farmers Insurance Agency, The Tyler Agency.

The journey has been an adventure through moments of happiness, devastation, trials and success.  The constant is God’s faithfulness.  Both Laurie and Paul accepted Christ into their lives as children.  Paul and Laurie’s passion is in serving God through serving others with a goal to build God’s Kingdom, within the church, family, careers and community. They are grateful to be a part of Foundation, Paul serving in the children’s ministry, on the set-up/tear-down team and Laurie serving on the Finance Committee, leading the greeting team and together, leading a Small Group and hosting the Wise and Other Wise group.
